I'm an "almost 30" Oklahoma native. I just recently moved to the East Coast after getting married. My passion in life has always been drawing, ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil (or crayon!). While it's been a lifelong hobby of mine, the idea of doing art for profit is a bit foreign to me. I don't know how to go about getting started, but I've always thought that it would be the greatest job in the world to be able to make a living doing what I love.



Before moving, I was working in the telephony field, doing software testing and support work for a software company. The experience was a good one, but I secretly wished that it was a more artistic and creative position. That's the kind of job that I'm looking for now. Until I find it (or settle for something less ideal) I'll just keep on drawing and enjoying life.
