"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

I finally got a new camera to replace my old one that went caputski. The new one is a Canon PowerShot SX260. It's a higher-end point-and-shoot camera with a 20x zoom, which was the biggest selling point for me. I've been playing around with it today, trying all the different modes and such. I'm loving it so far. Can't wait until I can actually take it out someplace more interesting than my yard and take it for a spin.
